| A Letter from Sue | |||||||||||
| December 21, 2005 Dear Winch, Thank you for your wonderful work that brings our old friends together, to share our feelings and experience. Make us feel much closer than before. What has happened to our donations to our high school? Looks like we have dropped the topic! I have an idea that I want to share with you for fund raising and I like to ask your opinion on it! Chi-Ping Lau operates a very successful dance group, Cheung Chiu-Chun is a favourite in Chinese opera performing in Hong Kong, and I am very interested in Opera singing. How about we work together to put up a performance in a Hong Kong Theatre for fund raising? We also invite schoolmates with musical or singing skills to join us to make the show be more colourful? Other classmates are invited to be volunteers to organize the show. We can ask for sponsorship with a minimum HK $1000 each. Such fund can be collected thru e-mail and at the 80th year's anniversary dinner. Each donation will receive 2-4 show tickets, depending upon the sitting requirements. If classmates do not want the tickets, then the tickets will be offerred for sale again to raise more funds. We need to have enough funds on hand to book the threatre and for printing materials. I think if we can put our effort together, there is a good chance to raise substantial funds for our school. The 80th year's anniversary is offering a good opportunity to show the strength of our schoolmates. The best time to put up the performance will be at the end of June as Chi-ping's students will be out of class. Merry Christmas Sue |
